Film Appreciation   -    'Fighting to Farm'

A 60 minute documentary recently released about the farming families of Western Kangaroo Island.  Set in the wake of the devastating summer bushfires, 'Fighting to Farm' chronicles the remarkable tale of returned World War II veterans and their families who created farms and communities across the undeveloped western end of the island.

Pistol Shooting

The Toora Pistol Club is offering U3A members an opportunity to try pistol shooting at their clubrooms.

Coach Excursion - Lyndoch Hill and Barossa Chateau Museum

High tea, tour of art and antique gallery, explore the rose garden

Date:  Friday April 8th

Meet at Murray Bridge Railway Station carpark 8.45am. Coach departs at 9.00am.  Arrive at Lyndoch Hill at 10.30am, high tea at 11.00am.  Tour of art and antique gallery 12 noon.  Free time in rose garden 1.00pm.  Depart 2.00pm.

Monique is currently an assistant director in the Murray-Darling Basin Authority’s engagement team based in Murray Bridge.  Monique will speak on the topic, "Murray Darling Basin Authority"
